She Shot at the Moon - Dedication

Along your life journey, there will be many people who help you to reach your full potential. It could be someone who has been in your life every step of the way or a person who spoke one single, significant word to you. I am a true believer that every encounter is divinely guided, you just have to pay attention to find the meanings behind them. It is important to give recognition to those who help you along the way, no matter how small their input may seem to be.
When writing my book, I already knew who I would dedicate it to. The answer was simple, my GBaby and my high school literature teacher. My literature teacher, Mrs. Trudgeon, would always encourage me to start a blog because of my writing skills. She helped me to embrace my free spirit, even naming me Most Likely to Carpe Diem. It was her encouragement that pushed me to continue writing and ultimately make the decision to write my book.
The encouragement from my granny, also known as GBaby, forced me to complete my good. She was the one who said that I should sit down and write a book while we were stuck in quarantine. It wasn't her first time telling me, but this time was different. I knew the time was right and I could actually make this a reality. From that moment, I started the process to write and publish my book!
Although I only dedicated my book to these two amazing women, there are hundreds of people who could have been on that dedication page. Whether it be the lady who introduced me to the book publishing company or the Waffle House employee that told me God's got me. I could have an entire book on those who have helped me along my journey, because I love to find the lesson in every encounter. Being grateful and constantly paying homage is always the best way to have a peaceful and happy life.
Give flowers to those who have helped you along your life journey and always show gratitude. I guarantee you will make their day!
